About Me

Many people don’t know, understand or comprehend the extent of what I do to save cats in my area.

I have been a “one woman show” for 6 years without funding, grants, benefactors or “advertising”.

I have “tnr’d” many hundreds of cats- getting up at 3:30- 4:00 am to do so. I have had traps INSIDE my house for cats to recuperate and get the medication they need to heal.

I have rescued kittens and cats from the top of Hathaway bridge, from deep storm stains, from the middle of flooded tunnels, from busy roads, out of 40 ft tall trees, woods and swamps.

I have put sick kittens and cats in my bathroom until they were well and found homes or fosters for them. I have found homes or fosters for abandoned cats that are adoptable.

I have rescued and kept cats that were not suited for outdoor life and not adoptable due to medical issues or disabilities.
I have taken many, many, many sick and injured cats for veterinary care and treatment.

I sweep up broken glass, rotting food and trash from around the dumpsters in the cat’s areas. I mow and trim the areas the cats live in.
I provide clean dishes and warm, dry shelters for cats. I rebuild the shelters vandals destroy.

I deworm the colony cats and give medicine to the ones that need it. I pet and brush them. I give them treats and catnip. I give them a whole lotta love every day. I cry every day.

And oh yes, I give them food-healthy food. Every morning.

I may not operate on a large grand scale as other rescues; my scale is smaller but just as grand!
